STICKER DOWNLOADER · PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sticker Downloader for Android and its website handle information when you create, download, manage, report, or share sticker packs.

Last updated: November 2, 2026.

1. Who is responsible

Sticker Downloader is provided by Uriel Castro Hernandez, trading as urieldev, in Mexico. For privacy questions or requests, contact me@urieldev.ru, our designated privacy contact. This policy covers the Android app (package mx.com.kambary.stickerdownloader) and stickers.urieldev.com.

The app’s normal sticker features do not require an account. Information linked to an installation or IP address can still be personal data, even when we do not know your name.

2. Photos, stickers, and files on your device

The app accesses images and documents you select to create stickers or import packs. Sticker editing, ordinary background removal, format conversion, previews, your library, editable projects, and exports are processed or stored on your device. Ordinary editing does not automatically upload your photo library to us. Background removal separates an image subject; it is not an identity-verification or face-identification feature.

Pack names, author names, captions, and other details you add become part of your local content. When you choose to add stickers to WhatsApp or share an image or .wastickers file, the selected content and its metadata are passed to WhatsApp, the app you select, or your recipients. Those services and recipients can keep their own copies.

On supported Android versions, system pickers grant access to the files you choose. Older versions may require storage permission. You can manage permissions in Android Settings. Removing local content does not remove copies you have exported or sent elsewhere; Android backup and restore settings may also affect local app data.

3. AppMetrica analytics, diagnostics, and attribution

We use AppMetrica, a Yandex service, to understand app use, measure installation sources, and investigate failures. The production app activates this service automatically; the app currently has no in-app switch to disable analytics.

  • Identifiers and technical information: AppMetrica installation/device identifiers, a randomly generated profile identifier stored by the app, IP address, app and operating-system versions, device characteristics, language/locale, and connection information. IP addresses can be used to infer an approximate location.
  • App activity: sessions, screens and feature interactions, downloads and conversions, editor-tool use, saves, imports/exports, actions involving WhatsApp, notification interactions, results, counts, timestamps, and processing durations. Public external pack identifiers may be included in operational or product events.
  • Diagnostics: errors, stack traces, crashes, unresponsive-app events, and related technical context. We filter certain expected failures and redact configured secrets; error details can still contain context from the operation that failed.
  • Attribution: campaign/referrer and click information used to associate installations or app opens with shared download links.

The reviewed Android configuration disables advertising-identifier tracking and device-location tracking in AppMetrica. This does not disable installation identifiers, analytics, or location inferred from an IP address. We do not request GPS permission for sticker features.

Product-event filtering excludes fields such as user-entered captions, prompts, images, local pack names, authors, and file paths. This filtering is specific to product events; it is not a promise that every operational error or voluntarily shared log is free of personal information. We do not send your photo library as analytics.

See AppMetrica’s data and security information and Yandex’s Privacy Policy.

4. Reporting a sticker pack

Reporting is optional. When you submit a report, the app sends the pack identifier/link and the reason you select, including any explanation you type. Please avoid including sensitive information about yourself or anyone else.

The current reporting flow also contacts ip-api.com from your device to look up your public IP address. It forwards the returned lookup information with the report to our backend. This can include the IP address, country, region, city, postal code, estimated latitude/longitude, time zone, Internet service provider, organization, and network/AS information. These coordinates are estimates derived from an IP address, not GPS readings, and may be inaccurate.

Reports are delivered to the developer as Telegram messages for reviewing reported content and handling moderation or abuse. Telegram therefore processes the report and the accompanying information as part of message delivery and storage. We do not routinely download these reports, but they remain stored in Telegram. See Telegram’s Privacy Policy.

Transport limitation: the current app’s IP lookup uses HTTP rather than HTTPS. That request is not encrypted in transit and can be visible to parties on the network. Other connections depend on the relevant service and app configuration; we do not claim that every app request is encrypted.

5. Downloads, catalog, notifications, and support

To retrieve a public sticker pack, the app sends its name, code, or URL to the relevant Telegram, Sticker.ly, or catalog service and requests the associated media. Network services receive connection details such as IP address and request timing. These are public pack requests, not access to your private Telegram or WhatsApp messages.

Catalog requests include the displayed app language, whether it was selected manually or follows the system, device languages and locale region, platform, installation store, and app build. We use this context to select a relevant catalog. The app also requests store/version information to check for updates.

AppMetrica Push and, on Android, Firebase Cloud Messaging support notifications about sticker packs. The services process app-installation/push tokens, technical delivery data, and notification interactions. You can decline or turn off notifications in the app’s settings where available or in Android Settings; doing so does not turn off analytics.

If you contact support, we receive your email address or chosen contact details and the information you send. Sharing diagnostic logs is a separate action you initiate through the system share sheet. Logs may contain technical details, links, local paths, or other operational context; review what you choose to share.

6. Optional AI features, where available

Some builds or configurations offer an AI assistant in the editor. If you choose to send a request to a cloud assistant, the configured provider may receive your prompt, relevant conversation history, editor/document structure, tool context, and sticker previews needed for that request. Depending on the selected backend, this can involve DeepSeek, OpenAI, OpenCode and its selected model service, or TypeSafe. In the TypeSafe/DeepSeek mode, TypeSafe receives text and editor structure, while DeepSeek can receive the request and sticker preview.

This processing is separate from ordinary local editing and AppMetrica analytics. Availability depends on the build and provider configuration. Do not send sensitive content through a cloud assistant. Where an on-device model is offered, inference runs locally; downloading the model still involves a network request to its host. Provider terms and retention practices apply to cloud requests; we do not promise that cloud inputs are immediately deleted or never retained by providers.

7. This website and download links

The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Google receives the network requests needed to serve pages, including IP address and request information, and may process hosting/security logs. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase’s privacy information.

Our pages do not load an AppMetrica web-analytics SDK, advertising pixels, or an advertising-cookie system. A small script at the root reads your browser’s preferred language to select a supported language, with English as the fallback. It does not send that language list to our own analytics service or store a language cookie.

Clicking a download button opens an AppMetrica tracking link. AppMetrica can process the click, IP address, browser/device information, and campaign parameters before redirecting you to a store or app. Google Play, AppGallery, and other external destinations handle subsequent activity under their own policies.

8. Why we use and disclose information

We use information to deliver requested features, operate downloads and the catalog, process reports, provide support, measure usage and acquisition, diagnose problems, and protect the service from abuse. We disclose the information described above to the providers involved in those functions and to recipients you choose when sharing. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to handle a valid legal claim.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, requested services and support rely on providing those services; operational analytics, reliability, and moderation rely on legitimate interests where permitted; and consent is used where required. An Android permission is not a blanket consent to every kind of data processing, and this policy does not replace a consent request required by law.

9. Retention and international processing

We have not established a fixed retention period or an automatic deletion schedule for analytics or pack reports. Analytics data stays in AppMetrica, subject to the service’s settings, retention practices, and applicable policies. Pack reports remain in the developer’s Telegram messages and are not routinely deleted. Not downloading them does not remove those cloud-stored copies.

Local packs, projects, and settings generally remain until you remove them, clear app data, or uninstall the app, subject to system backups and copies held elsewhere. Support messages remain in the communication service used to contact us. A deletion request may require action with the relevant provider; uninstalling the app does not automatically delete previously transmitted analytics, reports, or shared files.

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including countries with different privacy laws. Processing locations and applicable transfer protections depend on each provider’s arrangements. We do not promise that all data stays in Mexico or in your country.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

You can choose not to submit reports or use cloud features, manage file and notification permissions, delete local packs, and decide what to share. The app does not provide an account-deletion screen because its normal sticker features do not require an account.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on it, or request portability. Contact me@urieldev.ru with “Privacy request” in the subject. Describe the relevant report, approximate date, or support interaction so we can assess whether records can be located. We may request proportionate information to verify a request. Do not send passwords or unrelated identity documents.

We cannot reliably locate all installation-based analytics from your name or email alone, and we cannot remove copies controlled independently by recipients. We will assess requests and any legal retention requirements under applicable law. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

11. Children, security, and changes

Sticker Downloader is not designed specifically for children under 13. We do not ask users for their age or operate an age-verification system. If you believe a child’s information was submitted, contact us so we can review the situation.

We use service and platform protections to limit unauthorized access, but no system is completely secure. The HTTP reporting lookup limitation is described above. Third-party services have their own security practices.

We may update this policy when functionality or data practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Where required, material changes will be communicated separately and consent requested; continued use alone does not waive your privacy rights.
